In this virtual (Zoom) presentation, Lucy Littlewolf Arias will share on American Indian children and families today and Tribal Nations in Minnesota.  This will include history and policy considerations as well as the risk, reach, and resilience of American Indian families and how early childhood educators can come together to care for children in a good way.

Lucy is an Anishinaabe/White Earth and Niitsitapi/Blackfeet, early childhood educator, researcher and advocate.   In her role as Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) Preschool Development Grant Tribal Nations Lead, she works by collaborating with urban and rural American Indian communities to strengthen systems for Minnesota families.
